Photowall Canvas Review

This post is a bit different from my usual skincare posts, but in an effort to improve my overall sense of well being I have been giving a bit of well deserved attention to my workspace. When Jennifer from Photowall contacted me I could not have been more thrilled. I was gifted a beautiful canvas in exchange for an honest review.

Photowall is a Swedish company and they offer environmentally friendly wall murals and canvas prints. They have thousands of designs to choose from ranging from architecture, cities, animals and even fantasy. You have the option to upload your photo as well but I highly doubt that you won’t find something that appeals to you, given the number of options available.

The package arrived within a few days with simple diy instructions and my canvas print safely rolled inside. Photowall ships worldwide and shipping is free in the UK. It came with all the pieces needed to put my canvas together. My husband was nice enough to put it together for me but it is pretty easy to assemble.

I chose the  70 *50 cm Rainbow Bridge with Mt Fuji. The hint of pink on Mt Fuji was what really caught my eye and I just love how this canvas immediately added a bit of personality to my workspace. The site is laid out perfectly based on designs, rooms and colours, so it is so easy to make a selection or even  two. I will definitely look to Photowall for my wall decor needs. The quality of this 100% cotton canvas was superb and I am so impressed with how vibrant the colours are.

Everyone needs a bit of inspiration in their favourite room of the house and  why not do it with a canvas print or wall mural. Use the discount code SimplyShaizCampaign2018 for 20% off until the 10th of March and get yours here.

As always thank you so much for stopping by and do let me know what you think when you get a lovely canvas of your own.

Skin Organics Beauty Box December Edition

I received this box just before Christmas and for reasons I am unable to discuss at this time I wasn’t able to post a review until now. The skin organics clean beauty box is as the name suggests. The contents of this box are non toxic with no parabens, no SLS and  no hidden nasties. This was the first beauty box I ever purchased and I am so pleased with the products I received. Be warned that some of the items are completely used up lol.

The boxes start at £19 with £3.95 UK postage. It is a great way for persons new to organic skin care to try out new brands with out the hassle of worrying about whether or not your products are genuinely organic. For more experienced organic skin care users this box may introduce you to brands you might not have been aware of before.Check out this amazing beauty box here .Boxes are posted on the 20th of each month and you can also build your own box for only £15. Now lets get into the contents. The December edition included 8 items.

  1. Bryt Skin Care Day  daily moisturiser with  SPF 15: (sample size) The day moisturiser is a light mattifying moisturiser with SPF 15. It contains ingredients such as Vitamin E and essential oils including green tea, bergamot, lemon and mandarin.I am new to this brand but because I fell in love with the night cream I will definitely be purchasing the full size of the day moisturiser. The full size retails at £18.50.

2. Bryt Skin Care Night Cream: (Full size) I am really happy I received a full size of this product because I was already running low on my night cream. I really love the colourful packaging of this brand and with ingredients such as rose absolute, chinese geranium, palma rosa and lavender I was sold!! It’s not too greasy and I use this along with my serum to really seal in all the potent ingredients. The full size retails at £18.50.

3. Siskyn Grapefuit and Sweet Fennel Toning Body Oil: ( 30 ml travel size) I am no stranger to siskyn and I have completely used up this bottle!! The toning body oil has ingredients such as grapeseed, toning hazelnut, skin restructuring peach kernel and apricot kernel as well as sweet fennel, grapefruit and cypress. The siskyn sisters refer to it as a zesty body boost in a bottle and I absolutely love how moisturising it is. The 150 ml bottle retails at £32. You can check out my review of other siskyn products here.

4. Bodhi & Boich Ylang and Ylang Incense Bath and Shower Gel: (50 ml travel size)I love this bath and shower gel and the ingredients did not irritate my dry sensitive skin. With ingredients such as atlas cedarwood, spiked with fragrant honeysuckle, neroli and pink peppercorn I found this deeply hydrating for my skin. The sensual blend of fragrances is one both you and you partner will enjoy. The full size of this body wash retails at £20.

5. Narloa Mandarin Cleansing oil: (Full size) I have never used anything from this brand before and I am glad I was introduced to this cleansing oil. Prior to using this oil I used makeup remover wipes but I think this is a more natural alternative given some of the ingredients of the makeup wipes I used before. The cleansing oil offers a luxurious blend of plant powered oils such as sunflower and evening primrose among others. The full size retails at £12.50.

6. Konjac Mini Rudolph Pore Refiner with red Clay : ( mini size) This pore refiner is perfect for targeting and refining pores. It is pH balanced with mineral rich red clay which is known to stimulate blood circulation and give skin a healthy glow. It is also ideal for those prone to eczema and psoriasis. I have not tried the sponge  yet but I am excited to see what it does for my skin. This retails at £6.99.

7. Lilian Jones Cinamon Swirl Tea Light Candle: (Full Size) I used this on Christmas Day and I loved the scent mainly because I really like the smell of Cinnamon. It gave the bedroom a really cozy feel and I will definitely be trying some other fragrances from Lilian jones. The 100 g cinnamon swirl candle tin retails at £6 but is currently on sale so you can get it now for £5.

8. Truffle Pig Vegan Handmade Dark Orange Rose and Raspberry Chocolate: (Full size)This was definitely a pleasant surprise to find chocolate in a skin care beauty box. I did say that in 2018 I would try eating healthier so maybe I will trade in my Cadbury for this who knows!! I will definitely check out truffle pig for some healthier chocolate alternatives .

If any of you would like to try a beauty box I strongly suggest an organic alternative and why not start with this one. Your skin and your body will be glad you did. As always thank you for stopping by.

SAAF Pure Organic Skincare

I was recently gifted two items from SAAF and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to try out such an amazing brand. The items I received were:

  • Complexion Boosting Face Serum
  • Foot softening Balm

Before I get into the products  I wanted to give you a brief overview of the brand and what they represent. SAAF is marketed as being quite simply; pure. The award winning products are scientifically formulated by the founder Dr Mah and her very experienced team of experts. All of SAAF’s products are 100% natural and they provide an excellent  source of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. They are cruelty free, vegetarian, organic, vegan and halal. I am not aware of any  other brand with that many accreditations and I am truly impressed with all they represent.

The information provided about the products were taken from the website.I will begin with the complexion boosting serum. If you are not already aware serums are basically used after cleansing and before moisturizing with the intent of delivering a higher concentration of active ingredients. This might seem like a lot to take in; cleansing, serums, moisturizers, lol but it’s okay skin care is a journey and you get better at it with time. I am still learning.

The complexion boosting serum is ideal for:

  • Detoxing congested skin.
  • Oily and acne prone skin conditions.
  • Dull skin.
  • Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone and texture.

Directions:

Apply a small amount of the serum twice a day morning and evening and allow it to penetrate for a few minutes.

Key Ingredients:

Safflower Oil: To increase moisture content and soothe skin irritation and itchiness.

Jojoba oil: It is protective and helps the skin retain moisture.

Rosehip seed oil: Promotes healthy skin renewal.

Black seed oil: Acts as an anti-inflammatory to help clear breakouts and smooth blemishes.

Lemongrass: Pore refining properties.

Juniper berry: Skin detoxifying and purifying effects. Aids in balancing oily complexion and helps soothe acne.

My Thoughts

This is definitely one of the best serums I have ever tried and it has earned a permanent spot in my skin care routine. The serum is not thick at all and is very easily absorbed by the skin. Initially I wasn’t very sure about the smell but I have gotten used to it and with the results I have had so far I don’t even care what it smells like to be honest. With continued use I don’t believe you would have much use for a primer because of the pore refining properties of this serum. Prepare for even skin and gradual fading of dark spots and blemishes. I absolutely love this serum!!!!!

Foot Softening Balm

Ideal for :

  • Dry hardened skin .
  • Itchy irritated skin.
  • Tired aching feet.

Directions:

Massage into clean feet , heels, toes and ankles before bed. For particularly dry feet apply a generous layer of balm and wear cotton socks over night.

Key Ingredients:

Safflower oil: Increases moisture content of skin.

Blackseed oil: Natural anti irritant. Soothes tired aching and damaged feet. Potent anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Organic Beeswax: Powerful anti microbial properties and helps soften and soothe dry irritated skin.

Olive oil: Regenerating powers that helps smooth and soften skin.

Cocoa Butter: Antioxidant properties nourishes, softens and soothes.

Neem oil: Has anti bacterial, anti viral, anti inflammatory and fungicidal properties which makes it perfect for dry skin conditions.

Lemon Myrtle: Potent antibacterial, anti fungal and anti viral agent, more powerful than tea tree oil.  ( I have highlighted this because not everyone is a fan of tea tree oil and this alternative is even more powerful)

Rosemary essential oil: Has anti fungal properties that help with circulation.

My Thoughts

I have to confess that my husband has been using this more than I have, because he has suffered with dry feet for years. For those of you who suffer with dry feet maybe you have used urea based products in the past; he did many times but they never worked. Other moisturizers we tried worked but only temporarily. This foot softening balm works perfectly. It instantly moisturizes the skin and you wake up with smooth and soft skin on your feet. My husband never really pays attention to the many products which are delivered to our door but this definitely impressed him and he isn’t easily impressed.

Overall I am very happy with both products and I will definitely need to restock when they are done. I am eager to try out a few other products from the range. If you are interested in trying out the brand they are available here. It is a wonderful brand and I promise you will not regret your purchase. As always thank you so much for stopping by.

La Rose Bath and Beauty

If you have been following me on any of my social media accounts you may have realised how much I love supporting small businesses. When I discovered La Rose Bath and Beauty products I was very impressed with her dedication to creating products free of harmful chemicals and offering consumers organic ingredients they could trust. I purchased a few products at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. If you visit La Rose Bath and Beauty Products please read D’Andra’s very inspirational story behind her brand.

There are so many beauty and household products to choose from but I decided to start off with these.

  • Blueberry tea organic bath and body massage oil
  • Raspberries and cream organic whipped shea butter and sugar scrub
  • Skin correcting gentle facial wash
  • Clean Cotton Deodorant

My Thoughts

Bath and Body Massage Oil

This was highly moisturising and non greasy. My skin felt really soft and smooth after applying. I found it to be quite soothing post shaving as well. The body and massage oils are available in various fragrances and there are unscented versions for those with sensitive skin ,who prefer fragrance free.

Raspberries and Cream Organic Whipped Shea butter

This body scrub was unlike any other that I have used before. There was somewhat of a balance between the creamy and grainy consistency of the scrub. I think it is an excellent physical exfoliant and perfect for those who are  unable to tolerate a typical sugar scrub; the shea butter adds a bit of softness that your skin is sure to love.

Skin Correcting Gentle Face Wash

I think what impressed me most with this gentle face wash is the ingredients. I mean it is just ridiculous how much goodness is in this face wash; from oils to pink Himalaya salt it is truly heaven in a bottle. I love the creamy texture and the scent as well. I did notice that a few dark spots I had on my forehead have faded by using this so I can tell you that it definitely works.

Clean Cotton Deodorant

This was by far my favourite product. It isn’t often that I purchase a product and can confidently say that I am sticking to it simply because I love trying out new things ; but I have been searching for an organic deodorant for so long and the issue that I had before was that they did not offer all day protection. I am so glad that I finally found one which does. It doesn’t leave behind any residue and it has such a pleasant scent as well. If you take nothing else from this post please consider switching to an organic deodorant. Although evidence does not yet confirm the link between aluminium based deodorants and breast cancer it still makes sense to consider organic alternatives. I simply choose not to take the risk with my body or breasts and I will be purchasing these for my mom and sister and grandmother as well.

As promised my exclusive discount code is SHAIZ10 so be sure to use it for 10% off all of your purchases. For now shipping to the UK is quite expensive as this is a US based company but I will be placing an order in January so if any of you are interested I can make arrangements for you. Send me a message on instagram or twitter if you are interested. As always thank you so much for stopping by.

Liebster award

I was nominated for the Liebster award by one of my favourite bloggers; Chelsea of blissfullybubbly.com. I was so surprised when I got the nomination and so grateful as well. Chelsea’s blog is filled with wonderful tips and advice from gift buying to relationships. I absolutely love it. Thank you so much Chelsea for nominating me. I remember seeing nominations like these all the time on other blogs before I started blogging and I always got a little excited for the blogger who was nominated and now its actually my turn to get a bit excited.

The idea behind the Liebster award is simply blogger recognition and appreciation. Accepting the award gives the nominee an opportunity to nominate other bloggers who can then nominate other bloggers.  By accepting the award I  need to share 10 facts about me and answer a few questions as well. So here are 10 very random facts about me.

  1. I watch episodes of Friends over and over again and I never get tired of seeing them.
  2. I don’t like having breakfast. It is really a challenge for me to eat that early in the morning and any time before 10 am is considered too early for me.
  3. I don’t think I am an awesome cook because I never quite know just how things will turn out. They usually turn out pretty good but I am well aware that it could easily go either way.
  4. I learnt to swim when I was 21. When you live on an island everyone assumes you can swim and rightfully so since there are beaches pretty much everywhere but I couldn’t before, but then I signed up for swimming classes and now I have a certificate to prove that I can.
  5. I turned 30 this year and a week ago I got asked for ID when I bought cider at   TESCO.
  6. I still get excited about all the toys and chocolates that are at the stores during Christmas.
  7. I know some people love makeup but for me I love organic skincare products. I don’t think I could ever have enough. I just love trying out new brands but I always go back to my favourites.
  8. I like everything to do with travelling I dot even mind waiting for the flight to arrive.
  9. I order pretty much the exact same thing whenever I go to fast food restaurants. Since I don’t go very often I really can’t be bothered to try whatever is new I rather just stick to what I’m used to.
  10. I have strawberry legs. If you don’t know what that is its the tiny dots that appear all over your legs due to shaving. I think for me it is a mixture of that and keratosis pilaris which has similar appearances on the skin. That is definitely my biggest insecurity.

In addition to sharing 10 random facts about myself Chelsea also asked me a few questions which I will answer below.

Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog because I wanted to share my passions online. I started blogging definitely as a personal form of not just expression but relaxation as well. It can be a bit stressful maintaining a blog but overall it is such a rewarding experience. My advice to new bloggers is to keep at it because you can only ever get better and also to join a community of other bloggers where you can all support and encourage each other.

What is your favorite topic to write about?

Definitely organic skincare. Having beautiful skin has always been a passion  of mine and up until a few years ago I never paid much attention to the ingredients on some of my favorite skincare products. Choosing to take the organic route was one of the best decisions I ever made and I love sharing new brands and products that work for me.

What is your favorite movie?

A walk to remember is one of those beautiful but sad love stories without the predictable happy ending. It speaks of love that one would hope doesn’t just exist in movies.

Name a blogger who inspires you most and why?

Chelsea from blissfully bubbly definitely is an inspiration and its not because of the nomination lol. I love the layout of her blog, her choice of colours and the advice she provides especially on her Marriage Monday posts which I always  look forward to reading. There are so many bloggers who inspire me; I wish I could have selected more than just one but at least I can nominate a few of them.

If you could pick any place to live where would it be and why?

I would have to say St.Lucia because that is where I lived for pretty much all of my life and I will always consider it to be home even if I don’t live there right now.My family lives there and my husband’s family as well. It’s a beautiful island with very lovely people and I simply couldn’t imagine anywhere better than home.

All of these bloggers inspire me for different reasons and they blog about beauty, lifestyle, books, gaming and all sorts of other things. They are different and all very much worth reading about.

These are the rules for accepting the award.

Top 10 Tips On Turning 30

So now that we have managed to read out that title lol let’s get into this post. Today on December 2nd 2017 I turned 30; and given the fact that I am at home at 8:20 pm typing this post says a bit about what turning 30 looks like (I’m kidding) . This is one of those birthdays where at least one or maybe several people will tell you that you’re getting old. Even if technically you’re only one year older than 29 the absence of the number 2 makes it a big deal apparently.I don’t feel old at all, it’s just that I tend to enjoy makeup free days, spent doing absolutely nothing a lot more than I used to. I think this is why I chose this picture rather than one with me all glammed up with an inflated number 3 and number 0 suspended somewhere over my head.(no offence to others who choose to go that way I just can’t pull it off) So just in case you are about to turn 30, already 30 or wishing you could be 30 again here are my top 10 tips.

  1. Prioritize: Although you probably should not wait until you are 30 to do this but if you aren’t already there’s no better time than the present.I know everyone will be telling you that your biological clock is ticking but what this tip is really about is recognising how you are spending your time and whether the things that you are doing are actually worth your time anyway. Are you spending too much time on social media sites? Are you spending too much time in a relationship that isn’t going anywhere or are you not spending enough time doing the things that matter like spending time with family or spending time doing the things you love.

2. Organise your finances: If you haven’t already, start thinking about setting aside something for your retirement, medical bills or if you’re married consider a joint account to put towards your home or vacations or your next vehicle. Consider clearing or reducing your credit card bill. There is so much information online for ways to minimise spending and increase savings. It’s all about making the effort to improve the look of your bank account balance.

3. Wellbeing: With age comes different levels of responsibility. Maybe you have a husband, or children, a mortgage or student loan or maybe you are battling an illness; whatever the case may be, the truth is that life never ceases to present challenges, and these vary greatly from the ones you may have endured in your teens. It’s important to focus on your wellbeing  whether it is through spirituality, meditation, yoga, or your personal methods for self care, just be sure to do something that works for you.

4. Health: Eating well , sleeping well and exercise. If my husband ever read this he would probably wonder why I am not taking my own advice because I am so guilty of ignoring all 3, but your body tells you when you are lacking in any of these areas and you will notice if you pay attention to it. Although I am not the healthiest eater and there are days when I go on just 4 hours of sleep and I have donated to a gym or two lol I do try .

5.Fitness: Although I mentioned this previously I think its important to make this a tip all on its own. Maybe like me you cannot commit to a gym, but try working out at home especially if your job is not physically demanding .You will notice that your metabolism is not what it was before  and that extra milkshake will give you a bulge that wont just magically disappear in the morning like it used to so developing a lifestyle that includes fitness is definitely something you need to do.

6. Career: Are you already doing what you love? Are you in a job that challenges you? Are you making enough? Is there something else that you would rather be doing? Ask yourself these questions. Don’t delay your desire for more out of life.

7. Anti ageing Skin care: I got mixed reviews online on the best time to start using anti ageing products. I think you will notice the difference in your skin and know when you need to upgrade your skin care regimen. If nothing else invest in a good sunscreen. This is one product that I believe is critical to preserving that youthful glow.

8. Fall in love with yourself: You have had 30 years on this earth and if that wasn’t enough time to make you love you then maybe you need to start talking to yourself like you would someone you love. Give yourself compliments. Buy yourself something nice every once in a while; just be good to you.

9. Travel: I have always wanted to go to Paris. Maybe its the movies I’ve seen or maybe because I just love a bit of over the top romance every now and then; but its one of those places I’d love to go to. It’s refreshing and relaxing to experience new cultures with that special someone or just on your own. It gives you the opportunity to just unwind outside of the routine of life.

10. Don’t be too hard on yourself: These are just tips. They are tips that I constantly need to remind myself of because I am nowhere near perfect . I remember watching an episode of Friends once when Rachel turned 30 and she was trying to work out how much time she had left to have a baby. There’s absolutely no need to do that to yourself. I am 30 and yes I am married but I don’t have any children yet, my finances are not perfect, I don’t have abs, I don’t have a perfect a job and I am ok with that. I saw this quote once on Pintrest and I will end this post on that note. Your story is unique and so so different and not worthy of comparison. Always love and appreciate yourself for who you are. Here’s to 30!!!!!!!

Please let me know what you think and feel free to share some tips of your own in the comments below.

Ezape Naturals Rosemary Body Butter

Vanessa from Ezape Naturals is a qualified beauty therapist with a passion for health and beauty; so when I came across her range of luxurious organic skincare I was very eager to try them. During winter my skin gets extremely dry and itchy so an ordinary body lotion does little to nothing for me. As the seasons change so does my moisturiser. According to her website her products are natural and effective for dry sensitive skin with 100% natural ingredients and 99% certified organic ingredients.

I have been using this moisturiser for about 2 weeks now and I love the benefits that I am gaining from the following ingredients.

  • Organic Shea Butter: Highly moisturising to dry skin, reduces inflammation and provides relief to dry itchy skin. It also reduces irritation and bumps.

  • Organic Coconut oil: Natural antibacterial and anti fungal. It prevents premature ageing and seals in moisture.

  • Organic Sunflower Oil: Very hydrating to the skin with omega 3 6 and 9. All three of these help prevent and reduce inflammation, protect against infection and reduce the signs of ageing.

  • Organic Rosemary Oil: Protects against sun damage .

  • Vitamin E: Provides skin with the necessary moisture as well as antioxidants for intense healing.

Aside from what ‘s in it, the body butter itself is pearl white in colour and  melts into the skin without that sticky feel which is quite common with body butters. You can smell the rosemary but the smell doesn’t linger once applied.

Directions: Vanessa advises that the body butter be used after a bath or shower 3 times daily, but it worked well for me with only two applications; one in the morning and the other before bed.

The only downside for me is the coconut oil. The body butter is perfect for my upper body but when applied to my legs because of the comedogenic properties of coconut oil it seemed to make the bumps on my legs (strawberry legs) more obvious so this is one thing to bear in mind when choosing a body butter. Overall I would definitely repurchase because of how moisturising this body butter is. I use it on my entire upper body and feet as well and it keeps me moisturised all day. The body butter is available here. Feel free to check out Vanessa at @ezapenaturals for more of her amazing organic skincare products. What products do you use to moisturise your skin?

Organic Shop Strawberry Jam Deep Cleansing Body Scrub

As you may have already guessed this is a skincare product review; well more specifically body care review. When I decided to take the organic skincare route I didn’t expect it to be an easy one because from the moment you make that decision it’s no longer about pretty packaging or what products smell like, or even feel like but it becomes more about what’s actually  in them. Sometimes it can be a little frustrating giving up brands that you once loved simply because you now understand that they may not be the best choice because of some of the ingredients. When I came across organic shop uk and I saw all the pretty colours and all those options for body scrubs, shampoos and body butters I was in love!!
The strawberry jam deep cleansing body scrub looks and smells like strawberry jam. There are literally chunks of strawberries  in every handful. My skin felt so soft and smooth and the smell of fresh strawberries lingered even after I got out of the shower; which was nice because strawberries are rather scarce during winter so I absolutely loved it! The brand offers products free of common nasties including parabens, SLS, mineral oils and GMOs. They are totally against animal testing and the packaging is recyclable as well. Sounds awesome right?
Remember what I said about the frustrations of taking the organic route? Well here is where it gets frustrating. There were a few ingredients that I would have preferred to have been left out. The MIPA-Laureth sulphate for example, parfum and the colourants as well. I contacted the brand and expressed my concerns and was told that the MIPA- Laureth sulphate it contains is the least amount possible whilst still allowing the scrub to perform as a cleanser. I do love it when brands take us, the consumers seriously!!!
Despite the few ingredients that I was not too happy about here are those which made me smile:
  • Organic Strawberry Extract: Nourishes and soothes your skin.

  • Organic Black Currant Extract and Acai: Help detoxify your skin.

  • Raspberries and Lingonberry Seed Oil: Provide deep cleansing that leaves the skin supple and elastic.
My advice is this; if your skin care routine is  100% organic with no exception and zero tolerance this line isn’t for you but if you are thinking of considering organic skin care this is a very affordable way to start. The options are endless and the ingredients are way more skin friendly than the popular brands like The body shop here in the UK or Bath and Body works in the US.
So by all means newbie organics go check out @organicshopuk and try them out for yourself before picking up that ever so tempting popular brand. Charlotte is really helpful if you are unsure of what you should get. The products are very affordable and this scrub retails at £9.99 for a 450 ml jar which should last a very long time. It’s an excellent Christmas gift option as well for all those thinking of trying out a new line.
Let me know what you guys think in the comments below. Thank you as always for stopping by.
Disclaimer: The product was gifted in exchange for my honest review.

The Versatile Blogger Award

I guess you can tell by the title that this post has something to do with this award. Sooooo I got nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award four times!!!!! I am so very grateful to have been nominated and I would like to say a very special thank you to PAE Reviews,Jess,Fiona, and Katie. I love all of their blogs and you should definitely check them out.

As part of the rules of the nomination I am meant to share 7 facts about myself so here goes.

My 7 Facts

  • I love pink I always have and I know its extremely girly but I just gravitate to anything pink and in my opinion rose gold is like the adult version of girly pink if that makes any sense at all. I’ve always said that if ever I have a baby girl her room is going to be the room I always wanted because I don’t think my husband would appreciate me throwing pink everywhere in our bedroom lol.
  • I never try clothes on when I go out shopping. I honestly find it a hassle to take my clothes off in a store and try stuff on so I buy them and try them on when I get home.
  • Dessert is my favourite part of the meal  lol so I usually order something really light as a main course so I can really enjoy dessert.
  • I would rather a text than a call. I don’t know why but whenever my phone rings I’m like NOOOOOOO lol I don’t even know if that might be a little mean maybe it is. I just prefer to talk face to face and if we are apart just send me a quick  message.
  • I was in a long distance relationship for 8 years we are married now and if you’re wondering how that worked out seeing that I prefer messages to actual phone calls there are exceptions to the rule lol my mom for example; she would call and  I would rather talk to her over the phone as well.
  • I am originally from St.Lucia but I live in the UK now and I have been for a little over a year.
  • I am fluent in English and patois. Patois or creole is the second language spoken in St. Lucia. If you ever visit and realise that you don’t always understand what the people are saying it’s our second language lol.
